Definition of OSHA Posters in Construction
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration requires that specific posters and guidelines be posted on every construction project.
These posters indicate labor rights to safety and indicate proper procedures to be used to ensure that workmen’s safety on the projects is maintained. The posters identify the local OSHA office with phone numbers and other points of contact. In addition the OSHA posters will clearly identify the rights of the worker and the need for safety meetings, instruction, etc. on the project site. The OSHA poster are legally required to be mounted in full view on all construction projects.
