Definition of Edge of Pavement (EP) in Construction
Designation used on site plans to clearly indicate the areas that are the interface of one material and the adjacent pavement surface. The edge of pavement will identify the extent of the pavement, whether it is concrete, asphalt, gravel or landscaping. The edge of pavement is in many instances the location of the curbing as specified for the project.
