This is a tool that resembles a cat’s paw with a long handle. This tool is primarily used to pull nails that are embedded in wood. The back curved slope of the paw, which has an angled notch cut out of it, is hammered under the head of the nail at which time leverage is then used to push the cat’s paw down and pull the nail from the wood.
